Roba, I love this video too. Here you basically have Thom Yorke giving Ian Curtis, God bless his soul, a run for his money; and his hysterical, passionate, and a genius.

However for my money, and I do believe I am an expert on the subject being a member of the MTV generation and all, the coolest music video of all time is Fiona Apple’s Criminal, directed by Mark Romanek. Fiona was only 18 years old then, had a face of an angel and that deep bluesy ominous voice. The video perfectly capture the mood of the song. In one instance you even see a plush toy of a red devil in the corner of the room.

Run-up coolest music video of all time is of course The Verve’s Bitter Sweet Symphony.

    Cheers,

Juju, I must admit I love superlatives :) Hehe.

Bashbash, I will check out the Fiona Apple one out for sure :) But you said it perfectly about Yorke; he’s hysterical, passionate, and genius. I miss MTV! I used to love watching MTV and VH1. Long gone are the days…
