    Hi Roba, I really enjoyed this! I realize that the history is mainly of institutions and technologies but major figures would have to include Sigmund Freud’s nephew Edmund Bernays who applied Freudian theory to public relations, propaganda, and marketing. Sigmund’s great-grandson Matthew Freud is head of Freud Communications, with a similar public relations/ marketing agenda.
