No date? I am guessing late sixties.

    Old pictures are priceless.

love the hair!! i think the lips were ‘photoshopped’ by the photographer because they seem to be too emphasized. as for the date, my guess would be mid fourties because they look like my grandmother’s photos. thanks for sharing.

I am throwing a wild guess here but Grandma (bless her) had her daughter early on in her life. If you hadn’t elaborated in your post, I would have surmised that they were sisters with very few years apart (5 tops). Very nice picture by the way! :)

    Thanks guys! :)

I’m not sure about the date, but I’m guessing it was in the late 30′s or early 40′s.

    The geisha lips are awesome!

It’s amazing how class and elegance were constantly portrayed in all “old” pictures
    - and it’s a shame how such traits are increasingly becoming elusive these days

Thanks for sharing Roba and may God bless your grandmother and aunt

I agree with the Green Door, old pictures were really classy, people made sure they appear elegant and respectful in them. Women also rarely smiled or laughed in pictures, it was considered somewhat rude.

I couldn’t find a single picture of my mother smiling during her engagement or wedding. Her mother told her to make sure not show her teeth in any picture.
