Weekend Mario

I dropped my laptop yesterday. My shoulder blade spasmed and my laptop bag just slid off my shoulder and fell really hard, hitting the corner attached to the screen. Thankfully, aside from an ugly dent, a loose unibody, and some friction when the screen is being closed, it should be okay.

It really freaked me out, because I am completely obsessed with my laptop. For five minutes, I even had to control myself really hard to keep from crying.

That’s where my brother Omar comes in to cheer me up. Usually, he tries to cheer me up by treating me the same way he treats Whitey (which gets me so agitated that I do end up acting like Whitey). Yesterday though, he had a better trick up his sleeve, and ended up giving me a very early birthday present that totally had me forget about my laptop for a few hours (until I went to sleep and the nightmares came in: broken fan, loose screen, screwed trackpad!).

The birthday present: a Super Mario Galaxy 2 CD.

Needless to say, I’m dying for the weekend.

I am going to do nothing but play Mario on Friday and Saturday.

    Oh no, sorry to hear about the laptop! I hope it can be fixed easily. Awesome news about Mario Galaxy though. I’m currently playing Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story on the DS, and I’m loving it!

    My digital squeeze came back into my life today… TRIPLE YUM! :D She broke up with me a couple weeks ago—needed some time alone—I guess. Man, she looks good! I could’ve easily cheated on her, but I didn’t. It’s all good now. It wasn’t too bad… after all: I’m a MAN! I’m tough! (I’m traumatized! Help! Mommy!! :P) So, I hope yours just simply forgives you for that drop. :)
