The Stupid “Help” Button

Oh, Help Button, how I hate thee.

Really. Whose dumb idea was it to shove the absolutely useless “Help” button between some of the most important buttons on my keyboard? Seriously.

It unleashes a parade of tutorial pop-ups when clicked accidentally, which take FOREVER to load and really slow down my machine.

This button is cuddled between Backspace, Enter, and Delete, three buttons I’m constantly clicking, so I’m constantly clicking it without wanting to.

Plus, if anyone needs help, I’m betting they will actually click on the help button in the menu, no? Who even knows a help button exists?

Aaaaaahhhhhh!

To be fair, Apple have removed their shitty “Help” button from the center of the keyboard in their latest models.

    Wow, my Macbook Pro doesn’t have a help button and so I had completely forgotten about it. Good riddance, I say.

    that help button used to be a tradition on old computer systems as there were no online help or youtube tuts what so ever, everything was stored locally and accessed offline.

    F1 = Help ( in windows ) and its useful, most of the keyboard buttons are useful specially when u know the shortcuts for them, home, end page up page down ins del specially in text editing

    Scroll Lock is rarely used, even Excel Gurus do not use it anymore..

    I have nothing against the help key, i don’t remember using it ever though!! i think the Command key is my favorite:-)

    I also hate those Movie player quick launch buttons on HP laptops

    I just found out that the key i hate most in life is the caps lock key, Caps Lock key i really hate you so much and i wish you all the sufferings in life!!!

    sooooooooooooooooo true i hate the F1 (help) in windows, esp. when using drawing programs where other F keys are important shortcuts..ughhhhhh totally always slows me down, mostly when i am in a hurry to finish or send something…..now i am taking a second look at the keyboard to see what else i don’t like :)))
