This Actually does NOT Inculude the case where software may cause in an indirect way , a hardware problem..

    Such a Case :

You’ve Changed Your Screen’s Refresh Rate over 60 Hz, resulting in blank Screen once your OS ( Windows or MAC ) Loads, while the main screen of Bios Logo’s etc shows fine..

in my life i faced this problem with people more than 20 times, where people felt their computers had a curse, that is, when moved to a computer workshop it works fine !, but when its back to hope, it shows the problem again !

They never thought it might be a Software causing the screen to be out-of-range in Horizontal Refresh Rate Frequency.
