There’s a thief in our neighborhood. Almost every single car has lost its hubcaps over the past few years.

    LOL, you’re right! At 15 JDs per 10 minutes, it’s so much more profitable than 98% of jobs here :D

    Zeid, mine have been stolen for 2 years and I still haven’t replaced them! But my brother’s got stolen 2 days ago so I’m very glad I didn’t, or I would have wasted 15*4 JDs! As for jant, I wanted to get some, but Moose keeps telling me it would look super 7afalagi on my Lancer. Honestly, I can’t recognize a jant from a taseh :)
    We live in Shmeisani, near Culture Street, so I guess that figures.

    Taseh is Plastic that is placed on the inside ring of the tire ( the black round 7adeedeh with wholes inside )

    Jant is that 7adeedeh + Taseh all formed in one piece of Metal almost aluminium.

    if you put a junt, there is a big chance the next day to see your cars at left up by bricks lol.

    we had in a rabyeh a more professional 7arami, 7arami el Boilarat, he stole 5 7areqat boilers in one night, that is 5 x 250 JD.

    3la seret el police, one 5ali (he has a kuwaiti nationality), went to amman for a vacation..

    he rented a car i remember hundai elentra model sant-ha , that was in 2004 i guess..

    he woke up 3la salat el fajer, ra7 eysalli wa 2eth behe 2azaz el sayyara maksoor wo masroo2 el mosajjel.., tab3an el 2azaz elle enkasar which is the small triangle one in the back, he broke it, opened the car, and stole the tape/cd player.. without any alarm released..

    tab3an 5ali bekol arya7eyye ra7 3la maghfar el shortah, ( el shmesani) and after they knew his origin by asking him clearly: sheklak mosh kuwaity men ween enta ? he was like men hal balad.., tab enno men ween aslak ?

    he said men safad, tab3an the police man wrote that detail ( and i don’t know wtf he needed that for, the investigation ?) anyway, hadak yom wo hada yoom wo el mosajjel ma bayyan..

    so be3ono allah a5ooki, tell him not to change it, or put a super electric shock (switch enabled beleel) 3al tasat, cause in jordan fe nas 3yonha fadyeh, el trab ma bemalleeha ..

    fe nas ebtensara2 byoot-ha wo the police did nothing about it, beet jeranna bel rabyeh was theft 4 times in the middle of the day, and each time they informed the police .. bas salamtak ma7la bajamtak, kollo nayem bel 3asal.. specially el jeran..

    Zeid & Mesh, LOL, thanks for the crash course guys :P I recently discovered though that jants are so expensive than tasat, and my tasat can get stolen another 4 times for them to cost as much as 1 jant!

    Maysa, we did call the police, but what are they supposed to do… It’s really hard to catch such things! A few years ago my car was hit when outside really badly and they still have no idea who he did it.

    Mesh, my grandmother;s gold was stolen 20 years ago. A couple years ago the cops called saying they found it! And it really was it. Sometimes, things aren’t too bad :)
