The internet is the best last resort, after all
Heba Najeeb is now in Cairo.
Can’t find anything in English, here’s my rough translation of the news covered in Al-Masry Al-Yawm:
“After three years of being “jailed” in Saudi Arabia, Heba Najeeb was able to reach a compromise with her father. The compromise allows her to go to Egypt, while abiding by some rules that her family put forward, after convincing her parents that staying in Saudi Arabia is harming her.
Some of the members of her family told Al-Masry Al-Yawm that this compromise came through in a family setting, with no external pressure. They also said that Saudi authorities have nothing to do with “jailing” Heba, and that they tried to help her, but the problem mostly lay between Heba and her family.”
