People in India and other countries with large Hindu populations celebrated Holi, the Festival of Colors, this month.
Holi is celebrated as a welcoming of Spring, and a celebration of the triumph of good over evil.

When Yasmeen and I went to Makan looking for inspiration, one of the first thing we discussed was the plethora of random chairs scattered around the space. There’s the Abu Abed coffee chair, the deliciously personal couch, the wooden painted bench, the grandmotherish twine kitchen table chair, a modern swivelling office chair, among others.
Yes. Whoever you are, you’ll definitely find a spot to find your element.
