I hate having to:

…download software for the gadgets I buy. Especially if it’s something as silly as a camera. Have you heard of drives?

…be asked to register with my email so that I recieve “creative tips, news, and freebies” by the manufacturer of a gadget I buy. Does anyone seriously still fall for that? IT’S SPAM.

…what’s worse than having to download software just to get the images off something? Needing to restart after you download it!

It’s 2009 for god’s sake.

    its a thing you hate, but something i love if i have a high speed internet connection : >= 1 Mbps.

    when i get a new Machine (for me or for others who trusts me), and after installing a fresh OS (mainly Windows XP Service Pack 3 with latest updates), i through the OEM Drivers CD away, yea, because most probably the drivers are outdated, cause emta weselna el CD ?

    don’t forget BIOS update*, and Optical drive (CD/DVD/RW) firmwares, yea those CD drives has software updates too*.

    what do i do when a i get a new nokia mobile phone ? sure through the CD that came with it, because defently nokia has release a newer version of Nokia PC Suit , yea yea download it, and download latest Nokia Software Updater, and apply the latest Firmware to your device via cable connect (USB cable) this is the thing that mobile shops take 10 or 5 JD for, they say : mobilak beddo software, well yeah you can do this @ home.

    -Don’t Forget the update of your Graphic Card, Performance enhancement is expected after installing new drivers for your graphic card (Nvidia or ATI)

    believe me, even Hard Drives has Firmware updates, what else ? your wireless router , having problem with it ? bedallo eygatte3 wo eyfassel ? try going to linksys.com (most probably you have linksys) or DLink , and download a Firmware update for your wireless router..

    bekfi ? NO !, the Finger Print Time & Attendance Machine @ work we use, i upgraded the firmware for it, it will increase the hit rate of matching finger prints for employees .., last time i went to NISSAN service center.. I’ve asked the if there is a firmware update for the Car’s computer !.. and there were one !!!

    *Firmware update for BIOS is applied once only, unless there is a newer version, formatting your machine or resetting to factory defaults does not demand reinstalling a firmware of the same version.
