On Glasses

I thought these ads were really funny. I have been wearing glasses for so long that when I catch my reflection without them I am always taken by surprise.

    ya i’ve always wondered about that. are people with hearing aids considered better listeners? anyway, it is one of the reasons why i refuse to get a lasik operation :P

    OK, i’m new to glasses i broke couples of pairs.
    I hate glasses at all, i can’t imagine my freedom will be trapped behind frames !!!

    My roomate in college used to always tell me he wishes he wore glasses so that he could look more intellectual. I’m just glad to be rid of them. Top 10 reasons.
    1. No waking up and molesting furniture to try to find them!
    2.No funny mark on my nose.
    3. No foggy/wet lenses in the winter
    4. No broken glasses when playing team sports
    5. No having to go to an optometrist and go through the checkup process every year.
    6. No smelling funny cleaning detergent
    7. No showering and swimming while moving like a bat without sonar!
    8. No being called 4-eyes as a kid!
    9. No having to pay for the expensive ultra-thin anti-glare lenses.
    10. No having your eyes hidden by a lense flare/reflection in photos.

    Ramy, my freedom is blocked when I can’t see what’s happening around without them. So I guess it all depends on levels on blindness…
