On High Heels

Not to preach or anything, but here’s a really cool infograph about high heels. I think that high heels are hot, but since I’m the ultimate sucker for comfortable shoes, I don’t wear them more than a few times a year. It is amusing how much hotter the little illustrated woman is in her heels, I mean, the artist even changed the dress and the pose to match with the hotness.

High heels can cause osteoarthritis of the knee and calluses to the feet. The negative effects of high-heel shoes can show up many year after you start wearing them, i.e. when it’s too late to do anyting about them.
    Wide heels aren’t much better.

so what? go for Crocs? I mean, you can’t wear them to parties

I’m a ‘strong supporter’ of heels, and I could tell an Arab girl from another if she’s wearing heels most of the time or not! haha

yes, but the mystery is why are they hot ? Is it because high heels make the woman taller ? changes the pose angle ? or emphasize the foot ?

I can attest to the damaging effects of high heels!

In my last job I had to wear heels and sometimes I would be standing for hours at a time. I started having painful and stiff knees and walked like a pengiun. I eventually had to go to the doctor and it turns out I developed chondromalacia which is basically an irritation of the carilage in the knee.

So I’ve been laying off the heels!

Hani, heels forces the women (or the one dressing it, if you’re a flaming dragqueen – haha) to have a posture where the buttocks are sticking out backwards and bosoms stuck forward. So it “highlights” attractiveness in women…

I stopped wearing heels when I started dating my fiance…he’s much shorter than I am, so heels were not an option for me anymore. Lemme tell you, my body has never been so comfortable!!
