    (X^2 X^2) = (X^2 X^2) (X ^ 2 means X to the Power 2 or X squared)

    From basic algebra take X as a common factor from the left hand side and take the difference beteen squars on the right hand
    x(x-x) = (x x)(x-x) ( multipy again and you will get back to the first line)

    since (x-x) appears on both side of the equation, you can cancel out this common term, (simply divide both sides by x-x ) and you will end up with

    x(x-x) (x x)(x-x)
    —– = ———–
    x-x (x-x)

    after canceling (x-x)

    x = (x x)

    or

    x = 2 x

    ==> cancel out the x from each side , and you will end up with

    1 = 2 or

    1 = 1 1

    The sign does not appear in my prior comment
    ( x x) should read (x plus x)

    and the last statement

    1 = 1 1 should read 1 = 1 plus 1

    The plus sign is the boolean operator (OR), of course 1 OR 1 equals 1. ;)

    i asked my math teacher about that one before, its wrong because you cant divide anything on (x-x) because it equals zero, so there is no answer to that, its infinity
    so what you get is (infinity=infinity)
