We feel fine

We Feel Fine is an exploration of human emotion on a global scale. Every few minutes, the system searches the world’s newly posted blog entries for occurrences of the phrases “I feel” and “I am feeling”. When it finds such a phrase, it records the full sentence, up to the period, and identifies the “feeling” expressed in that sentence (e.g. sad, happy, depressed, etc.) Pretty cool idea, right?

What I really love about this exploration though is the brilliant flash interface, complete with the charming graphics. The colored speckles represent emotions, and I love the way they interact with one another, bouncing off each other in complete harmony. Jonathan Harris is a genius.

Naturally though, trust me to fall in love with anything that involves colors, balls and gravity. Doesn’t this experiment remind you of the Bravia ad?

Check out We Feel Fine here, meanwhile, I’ve personally been feeling absolutely wonderful lately!

I think most of the people who can’t afford to have Pc, or internet, are feeling bad, sad, hungry, killed…Etc. most of the people who can afford to have stuff like internet they are properly feeling good. There are a lot of hunger, diseases, and wars killing people, they don’t have time to post a comment to say “I Feel”, maybe just by media, we can see those big black balls eyes, or maybe not because they are already died.!

But any way I think its cool idea!

I think the idea is absolutely brilliant. For a second you feel you can almost grasp the bigger picture. You can see the insides of people, and you can relate to them much more easily. It doesn’t matter what they do, what language they speak, what they look like, or where they come from. All these differences melt away and you see everyone through their feelings, as humans….
