Lip Liner Misdemeanor

On a more serious note, lip liner WAS NOT invented to replace lipstick. It was invented to ACCENTUATE lipstick, not to outline nude lips. It also has to be the SAME shade as the lipstick being used.
SERIOUSLY. Someone should make such misdemeanor illegal.

    ummm, I SOMEtimes line my lips with a faint shade of lipliner then apply lip gloss … It looks good, I believe

    I know next to nothing about makeup or why each of its accessories was originally invented. Anyways, using a different color lip liner actually can look good. Not always – of course, but it can give a nice effect.
    Makeup is simply a form of art. Art is bound by no rules. :-)

    I agree! It looks like you went out of the house and forgot to put the rest of your make up on! Maybe those people do that? :) I will admit to having worn a slightly darker color liner than lipstick, but it didn’t leave an outline or anything.
