Annual Compulsory “Cold, Rainy Year on Campus” Post
Anyone who has ever been a student at Jordan University is aware of how everything seems so much colder when on campus. Perhaps its the fact that one has to cross relatively open spaces to get from one class to the other, or perhaps because its that the “university mountain” is high in altitude.
Whichever reason it is, the hours spent running from class to class with my head covered with a book, the many times I’ve slipped and fell smack on my backside while trying to run fast enough to get to a lecture in time, and all the screams I’ve let out as my umbrella flipped from the wind are one of the things I’m going to miss most when I graduate (soon).
But anyway… here’s to the last annual compulsory “Cold, Rainy Year on Campus” post, and to many more decades of students slipping and falling SMACK while running through Share3 il Nawar (the Street of the Vulgar).
Ahh… the smell of the pine trees of Jordan University with the rain is probably one of my favorite smells in the world.
