Yay

Yay, new Laptop. At first, I really wanted one of those 12′ tiny notebooks for their portability, but then I decided that what the heck, might as well get a proper one, so here we go. It even has one of those thumb print verification things. Awesome.

While we’re on it, does anyone know where I can get my hands on some reasonably priced and stylish laptop bags or sleeves(ex. not black and not the terrible material usually used with laptop bags) either in Amman (preferably) or online?

Mabrook on the new laptop! Here’s a link to a few laptop bags to give you an idea on what you might like. None are black, some are ridiculously overpriced some arent but most of them are very cute and colorful.

Alf mbrook, I have to confess I am with your initial idea, 12′ is the ideal size for a laptop particularly if you plan to take it with on the move often.

ahh bags, bala Targus bala 7aki fadi (admittedly I own one!) some thing more stylish and wacky surely suits you better;) I was intrigued of what is out there and when I had a quick look I came across this: http://www.squidoo.com/laptopbag/
seems like a good place to start, and not that I am judging or anything ;) but I see you with something like the baggallini courier :)

    MABROOOOOOOOK :) Alf mabrook …
Targus are awesome, I just got myself one of those sling bags, They’re awesome and extremely functional (and different!)
Lowepro are also fantastic, but they’re more geared towards Camera bags.
As Jameed said, Ebags.com has a lot of selection for your taste. Samsonite makes a bunch of tiny cute ones
I commend you on not falling for big brand names.

Jad, it depends on what does she need the laptop for. LG laptops are not as expensive as IBM, Toshiba or Sony, they really look elegant and just good enough for normal usage, at least better than Dell or Acer in my opinion even though I got myself a Dell laptop. For maximum performance people go for IBM and Toshiba (Toshiba mainly for brighter colors and better resolution maybe) and for a tiny slim (and cute) laptop you can go for Sony Vaio but I don’t think she needs any of that. Buy the way I don’t know much about technicalities, I’ve never used an IBM or a Toshiba laptop but I’m talking from a buying experience.

  • Jad

You’re right Shaden, but If you take my opinion I think Sony VAIO is the best that suit girls :), their problem is that they’re pricey.
