Welcome to Jordan

Welcome Baul

How would you feel if this was the first thing you see when you step out “into” Jordan?

Well, yeah.

Aren’t the boys just charming?

Just for the record, Paul apparently DID miss his flight, so instead of coming in at 7:30 PM on October 12th, he came in at 12:30 AM on October 13th.

Well, it’s surely a warm Jordanian welcome since half of the extended family got to the airport!
Yeah…what’s on the last sign to the right? (Welcome Baul X ?)

Such a nice and joyful family.
Security dudes were fine with this?

Roba, I’m telling my husband the airhead story and he is THBL (throwing head back laughing). He’s used to my ‘blonde’ moments.

What a job your mom had!

Actually, most of them Paul doesn’t even know! My brothers forced enough of their friends to come to hold up enough signs. The last sign had a smiley face.

That`s a warm welcome… I once saw the best welcome i`v ever seen in queen alia airport. there was an egyption worker who left jordan to marry his fiance and return. there was a band in the terminal singing and playing music with egypting instruments (zaffah)and a lot of friends and women (beyza`3rado) . the pride even had the wedding gown on, it was very sweet and gave me goose pumps…

Maybe he actually arrived on time, but got scared by the welcome committee and pulled a runner, hiding out until they were gone, then told you he’d missed the flight?

So you mis the day, he misses the flight, finally walks to the scary sight of his name mispelled on a rare Friday 13th.

Great elements, I’m sure a good story can come out of this.
