The Ultimate Championship of the Messiest

Ladies and gentlemen, I proclaim the first ever competition on And Far Away officially opened as of now.

The challenge is quite simple if you’re messy; all you gotta do is take a picture that portrays the level of messiness you are living in and email it to me at (roba.assi @ gmail.com). Seriously, it’s about time that the world comes to appreciate messiness!

I would love it if you have a paper that says “And Far Away” somewhere in the photograph, but if not, it’s all cool. Inspired by Mr. Ziad D, the time has come to truly appreciate, delve, and even award messiness. Yalla, get your cameras out, I already have some pictures and I’m telling you the competition is hot.

The award is simple yet genuine- I will personally make a messy-winner card for the person with the messiest and desk and mail it to you wherever you are in the world. Perhaps I’ll eventually become a famous artist and the card will be worth millions ;) Anyway, in this day and age of digital culture, who doesn’t love snail mail?

I will also send a compensation card for the desk that looks the most “livable in”- it can be neat, messy, or neither, it just has to look cozy, creative, or unique.

I will make a page for the submitted images sometime in the next two days, so hurry up!

    umm well, the thing is I ask for room service every other day for the sake of not traumatizing my roomate. I’m such a messy person but no one appreciates it :-(
