Macromedia said that Nokia Corp. has agreed to a partnership that gives Macromedia a big boost in its efforts to convince developers to use its Flash technology in building mobile-phone applications(Sourc:Yahoo! News).

Brad Akyuz, analyst for market researcher Current Analysis, says, “With the Nokia move, Macromedia now has a chance to expand its reach globally. Nokia’s smartphones are retailing basically everywhere in the world.”

Although I’m only a fan of Flash when it comes to gaming(a heavly Flashed website is a nightmare to me), I think that Macromedia is doing a hell of a great job. I’m also strongly biased towards Nokia, so I’m rather excited to see the results.

On a side note, my favorite logos are those of Macromedia.
